Mizuki climbed up into a tree and sat on one of the branches. She smiled, proud of herself for sneaking out of class. "It's way too easy to sneak out," she said to herself, looking down at all the people passing by. Mizuki sighed, then laid her back against the trees trunk. "I wonder if anyone will find me up here.." she said, then smiled with a daring gleam in her eyes. "I hope so!"

iruka was looking for his escaped student, ready to forcibly bring her back to class with him. He glanced at the tree, looking for a shock of white hair and green eyes. He smiled once he found her, quickly preforming a clone jutsu, the Academy Teacher snuck around and went up the tree as silently as he could while his clone walked down below the tree branches.
Iruka smiled as he looked at Misuki, she reminded him so much of someone, ah yes, Naruto. He almost laughed but the chunin held in his breath and waited for her to either find out he knew where she was, or make a sound.

Mizuki sensed something behind her just barely, but she only thought it was a squirrell since it was very quiet. Just to be sure, she turned and looked around. "Aw crap," she said, jumping off the branch and out of the tree as fast as she could when she saw Iruka, just to see that she was heading for his clone.

Iruka smiled, he'd known she was a smart child! He lept after her. He raced faster after her to catch the child since his clone could only really hold her. He laughed and raced after her,
Iruka-clone turned and looked at the small child running towards him. instantly, he reached out to grab her.

Mizuki skidded to a stop and turned, still running, just in time to stop herself from running into Iruka-clone and out of the path of the real Iruka, then ran a few feet away and stopped, turned around and smiled at them. "You'll have to do better than that, Iruka-sensei!" she said, resting her right hand on her hip.

Iruka smiled, "You only think so Mizuki-chan." He said and raced after her. The chunin smiled as he ran after. He leapt on the tree branches, quickly trying to gain on the Student, he'd get her. It was only a matter of time. Iruka had to admit, she was pretty good.

Mizuki took a step back before turning and running again. Just in the beginning of the time after she ran, she turned around completely and ran the opposite direction towards a tree, jumped onto the trees trunk, then kicked off the onto another, did the same with that, and into another tree. Mizuki then jumped from that tree to another and consealed herself completely.

Iruka smiled as she tried to escape him, but the chunin was smarter than he looked (hopefully, he looked really smart). He smiled slightly and watched her dart off, then smiled, he shrugged, "Ah well, I suppose I'll just have to ask someone else to step in for you in the competition." Iruka said, with a shrug.

"What competition?!" Mizuki asked, darting out of hiding without really knowing it. She got out so fast that she accidently went onto the end of the tree branch, which snapped under her weight and she went falling down. In less than a second, Mizuki shot out her metal staff and stabbed it against the ground, sliding her hands down it so that she wouldn't hit the ground so hard. After she landed, Mizuki kept her hands clenched around the metal painfully, then opened them and looked at her palms. Both of them were bright red and stinging from sliding on the staff.

Iruka smiled, knowing that it would have brought out the student in a hurry. He walked over to her, seeing her hands, he smiled slightly, "I think you need gloves." He said with a soft chuckle, "Or you'll rub all of the skin off your hands and leave them tender." The chunin said, looking at Mizuki. "Oh, by the way..." He poked her shoulder, "Got you." He said with a grin.

Mizuki groaned a little, then smirked. "Or maybe I got you?" she said jokingly, then glared at him a little. "Hey, you lied about that competition thing, didn't you?!" The student sighed at herself for being so gullable, then waved her hands to cool them.

Iruka smiled, then he shook his head at the student, "Don't worry, the year is still young." He said with a small grin, "We'll have a tornament later, I promise." He said. "But first," He smiled, "I'd have to teach everyone some jutsu, don't you think?" He asked, "And a certain someone had better not skip again." [/b]

"Maybe," Mizuki said, dividing her staff into the three sections and putting it back into her pocket. "But how come class has to be so boring? I want to start doing missions and that stuff!"

He poked her on the head, "Because you have to learn the basics." He struggled for a moment to get an example, "It'd be like...like," He paused, then smiled, "It's be like trying the most complex manuver with your staff, without warming up at all, or even practing. It could be dangerous, and," He smiled, "Depending on what your doing, deadly."
