Why should he care about that - that - that... female!? He did, he just didn't know why. He was hurting - but that wasn't the reason he was acting like this. He was just -- hurting. He looked around, magenta eyes narrowed as he started at the plants and buildings around him. He could feel the stirrings of Hachibi in him and smiled.
Hebi looked around slowly. His eyes narrowed. What was he doing here? Killing time.

Ozaki Eriko was in high spirits today. Her existence seemed to be getting better by the second despite all the troubles that cluttered her brain. Jin Ho had returned from his mission with only minor abrasions leaving her to fuss over him at the house. A soft hiss stole the girl’s attention from her older brother to the tiny kitten in her arms.
“Aw look at you!” she cooed, stroking the grey fur. Eriko discovered the abandoned kitten outside of her family’s store this morning and could help but feel concerned for it. Eri’s smile dimmed a bit when she spotted Hebi. It wasn’t as if she didn’t want to see him she just didn’t know what to say. “Well um... I didn’t expect you here Akki-kun. We… well uh hi.” She blushed and stared at her feet nervously.
