Light brown eyes widened as Hebi ran away from the stunned kunoichi. What in the world was going on? Eri grabbed her sandals and quickly tried to reapply them without falling over. “Hebi-kun wait!” Eriko paused in mid step. Should she really follow? Maybe he wanted to be alone but… he was hurting that was obvious and if left alone he would probably become bitter. Like I did. she thought sadly before attempting to catch up to the boy who was by now out of sight.
There was no way she could possibly run fast enough to catch up to him. This is bad. There’s no way I can even match his speed. Eriko sighed and leaned against a nearby tree trying to catch her breath, this was getting her nowhere. She looked at the sky and breathed in deeply. The once nice day didn’t seem so nice anymore.

Hebi had pelted out of there, scared of his own emotions. Scared of his past, scared of himself. Keisei had slithered out of his pokect and around his neck, curled around his headband, the boy clamped his hands over his ears as he sought to run form the voices in his head. Voices that called him an experiment; a demon, a destroyer. Something hateful. He almost screamed with the pressure upon him. His small body couldn't contain the rage that had filled his head once more. He finally threw himself outside of the walls, flashing passed to stunned Kumo jounin before leaping into a tree and shivering. He stood there, his eyes blank, his body numb with fear and sickness. He shivered, the snake lifted her head and rubbed it along his own, he stroked her gently.
How could he have done that? How could they have done that? Was that all he was? Something to fight? A prize to be had! He was more than that, he knew it, but... why didn't others understand it. He cried softly again, he withdrew into himself and crouched against Hachibi's warm scales. He cried against them. The snake curled around him; even evil things had weaknesses. Hachibi knew that this boy was his. He hissed softly. Those fools, they didn't know what they stood up against. The boy cried against the coils that wrapped around him like a mother's embrace, "I didn't mean too!" He cried, "I didn't! I swear! It's their fault!" He cred softly, then his real body stood up and he screamed aloud, "IT'S ALL THEIR FAULT! THEY DID THIS TOO ME! THOSE BASTARDS!" He screamed, shaking birds from the trees around him. He skin was outlined once more in the glow of green. His pupils had narrowed to slits; just like a snakes.
He hissed, his skin took on a more scale-ish sheen and he hissed softly. "It'ssss there fault." He hissed softly, dragging out his 's.' He growled angrily. Then broke down into a burst of tears.

Eriko was busy looking around the whole village for Hebi. She had asked everyone she encountered if they had seen the magenta eyed boy but no one seemed to know where he was. Eri sighed, she was getting frustrated and maybe just a little worried. The girl smiled slightly as she once again stopped to ask a random passerby if they had seen her snake boy. Nope. Time to move on. This is completely pointless, she mused in her head, I barely even know Akki-kun and I’m already exhausting myself trying to find him.
The dark-skinned genin bit her lip worrying it slightly as she pondered where he could possibly be. She was sure she had scoured the whole of Kumogakure and yet there was no trace of Hebi anywhere. Where could he have gone? Eriko shuddered as she felt something odd pass through her, a sinking feeling settled in the pit of her stomach. She turned towards the source of the chilling feeling and was greeted by a flock of birds taking off not too far from Kumo’s outer walls. Well, if there are birds taking off there must be something there. Eri knew it probably wasn’t the purple haired genin but she knew she had to at least try. This was the only clue she would ever get. She was sure.

Hebi fell against the tree as tears leaked from his eyes. Keisei snorted and lifted ehr reptillian head to gaze at him. She hissed softly and rubbed her head against him. He lifted a pale hand and rubbed the scaled hide of his friend. He sighed softly, then brought his knees up to his chest. Eyes closed as he tried to drowned out the noises around him. He couldn't make them leave however, they were there. He cried still more as he went over every detail of his life since he'd been... broken.
He just sat there though, hollow eyes looking at nothing, hand repeatedly petting the same part on the snake. He couldn't fel anything anymore. Not even when he blacked out and fell off the branch. This fall was a good twenty or so feet, and the ground below was littered with hard rocks.
When he landed, it was with a dull thud, on his side, but he didn't feel any pain, nope. No pain. bliss, if he were to die here... he'd be happy. It would end all of his sufering in this world where people were used as if they were tools without minds or feelings. In a world that posioned little kids...
his left arm, the one he'd landed on, was broken, but it wasn't totally clear that it was broken since he was laying on it and it seemed to be fine. Keisei slithered away from his broken body, but boiled up soon enough as she stood guard over her master.

Where was he? Eriko simply seemed to be having absolutely no luck with anything today. I almost forgot, brother's coming home today. The girl's finger went to her lips as she began her trek towards the area in which she believed Hebi to be, while nervously biting her already short nails. It seems I can't get a break today. She sighed defeatedly and continued to walk dejectedly towards the gates feeling completely sorry for herself and maybe just a little nervous.
"Excuse me!" Eri shouted as she waved down one of the Jounins gaurding the gates. "I hate to interupt you when you're on duty, but have you seen a boy with purple hair pass by here?" she inquired. She recieved a negative reponse but something told Eri they wouldn't tell her anyway.
Eriko felt slightly unsafe out past the walls of kumogakure, where she had been almost all her life but she decided she would suck it up. I should think of this as training...right! She put on a brave face and treked through the forest calling out to the boy with absolutely no luck.
"Hebi-kun!" Finally she spotted him lying amoungst a bunch of rocks and dirt. He didn't look so good. This can't be good. People don't just take naps on hard rocky ground where anyone could just walk up and attack. She thought to call out to him again but... "Akki-kun are you there?" The girl almost choked on her words, it seemed like a brick had just been dropped into her stomach and she was not liking the feeling.

He could have sworn that he was floating on a river, a smooth river that promised only a release from his torment. A release that he hadn't known he'd been begging for. He sighed softly and relased his body, preparing for whatever would come. He didn't want to live anymore, what use was there in living if it only brought pain? He'd had his revenge, what more could he possibly want from this world? He just wanted to die... and it would be so easy to just stay on this floating river to the end of his days, minutes, hours, seconds. It didn't matter. He wanted to be loved, and somehow; he knew that here, he would be loved.
"Hebi-kun!"
What was that? Why was someone calling his name? The voice sounded familiar, but he didn't recall ever hearing a voice. He frowned slightly, they were trying to pull his away. Pain. Ouch. Agony. He knew when he came back he'd be in pain. He didn't want that. He wanted to stay away from pain, away from hurt. He didn't want to be hurt ever again. Once was enough. That betrayal was just about the most betrayal that he could ever handle in his life-time.
"Akki-kun are you there?"
That voice was there once more, calling him home. Back to the realm of pain and betrayal. He didn't want to go back, but the sound of her voice called to him even from the border of life. He couldn't help it. He turned and swam against the current the sought to drag him back into the abyss that would end all. He sighed as he opened his magenta eyes. He stirred slowly. He looked up at her, her hurt eyes. Had he done that? His tongue felt like lead, he couldn't move it at all. He sighed softly and struggled to get up, the rocks had bruised his body, but the demon's magic was already at hand, healing him even as he struggled up.
He looked at her, "Eriko-chan?" He asked weakly, he looked at her, eyes both half-closed as he sat there, the breath wheezed in his lungs. Where was he? Why was she here? Why were there rocks? He didn't understand any of it. He wanted too, badly as well. He wanted to know why he was here, why he felt so bad, and why she seemed to be almost crying. "Eriko-chan, what's wrong?" He asked softly.

Horror and panic were the only things going through Eri as she tried desperately to think of what to do. Hebi was not well. She was now sure of it. A large breath was sucked through Eri's lips as Hebi seemed to come to and finally get in touch with the world of the living. She turned from him as he called her name finally allowing the tears of frustration to fall from her stubborn eyes.
"What's wrong?" Eriko repeated trying hard to stop the tears. She felt so stupid. Here she had thought Akki-kun had needed her help but in the end it didn't seem he did. It all just ended up making her look like a complete fool. "Nothing's wrong Akki-kun."
Eri wiped her eyes with the back of her hand her shoulders shook as she sobbed in relief. It happen often. During the situation she was completely calm but afterwards...she broke. "Everything's alright now yeah. Are you ok? You don't look very well." She turned and slowly walked over to Hebi, putting on her best (but not the most convincing) smile she could muster at the time. Why did you run away? she thought but said nothing.

He looked up at her, why did he side hurt? He winced as he drew in breath. He sighed slowly and silently as he looked up at her, was that a tear? He looked at his snake, who, seeing that he was fine, had crawled back into his pants and slepted. He struggled to rise, to go and see her. To tell her he was really fine. When he was at last, on his feet, he could feel the demon inhis caution him against such motions. But Hebi ignored Hachibi for once and went to see Eriko-chan. He looked at her, "Bull," He said quietly, "Something it wrong, please tell me?" He asked softly, searching her eyes with his own.
He looked down at his body, "Yeah," He said softly, "I'm... fine..." He said, fighting to remain consious.

Eriko stammered in slight protext as Hebi moved towards her. It was probably unwise for him to be moving if he was hurt, especially if it was just to comfort her. After all this isn't what this was all about.
"No everything is just fine, really." The girl quickly looked him over trying to gauge his health just by looking at him. Eri didn't seem to even register that the boy had said he was quite alright before reaching for his hand.
Worry laced her voice as she spoke, determined to get him to follow. "Please Hebi-kun, you say you're ok but it's still not safe out here outside the village. We should go back now and get you checked over, just to be safe." Eri pleaded with him being out here just gave her the chills. Who knew what could happen outside the safety of the village. Kumo was still not on good terms with some other villages not to mention other dangers and missing nin. They might as well have put a huge target on their foreheads that said: "attack me i'm helpless"
"I don't like being out here if I don't have to be. It's just not safe this time of year." She began her nervous chatter while attempting to drag Akki-kun along. She never really answered his question and she prayed he wouldn't ask once more. "Plus, I don't trust those jounin at the gate. We could be screaming bloody murder right now and they probably wouldn't even pay attention." Eri grumbled grumpily.

Hebi rocked back and forth on his feet. He swaed slightly, she grabbed his hand. He steadied himself. More fo her sake than for his. He followed after her, knowing that they were perfectly safe with his being there. He tilted his head forward and walked slowly after her. He didn't want he to be hurt or anything. He just wanted her to be happy. If that meant going back into that cursed village; so be it. He sighed and trudged after her, trying not to show that he was in pain.
Hebi felt deeper inside of him, towards the snake-demon he called friend and father. The snake glanced at him and his tongue flicked out slowly, then flicked back into his mouth. The snake hissed gently and nosed the barrier that kept him inside of the boy. He snorted and sighed, his sigh ending in a hiss. The snake turned to reguard the cell with dead eyes.
Some of Hebi's old personality flowndered back into the boy, the child in him driven back. Hebi wrenched his hand from hers, he gave her a cold stare, dead and lifeless as he entered the gates. He didn't turn back to look after her, he merely stumbled a bit and went on, struggling not to wheeze and pant. He gave the guards at the gate the same hafteful stare.
He didn't need their help! He hissed angrily and stumbled again, this time being forced to support himself on one of the buildings. He turned his head slightly and breathed out, his chest hurt. Everything hurt. It was her fault. It was all her fault. He told himself over and over again. Of course, the small child in Hebi protested angrily, but it's voice was drowned out.

A million little thoughts were busy racing through Eriko's worrisome mind. She was trouble. So much so that she almost didn't notice Hebi tugging his hand away from her own. However, Eri more than caught the glare that was directed towards her. Initially she began to worry once more. She blinked once.Twice. Before it registered in her mind what exactly what was going on. 'What a jerk. I go through all that trouble worrying about him and what is my kindness and worry met with? A glare of all things! the girl fumed as she watched the purple haired boy stumble towards the village gates.
Eriko sighed in frustration and rolled her eyes before following after him, hands in her pocket. She was angry and maybe just a little hurt too. "Are you in need of assistance Akki-san?" she inquired in a polite yet stiff manner.

He stumbled again, he looked at her, her eyes had changed. but then again, she had his. They were slitted like a snakes. He hissed at her angrily. why didn't she understand?! He didn't want to hurt her! He snarled, fighting himself. He collapsed on the ground and clutched his head. "Go away!" He told her angrily, his voice lined with sorrow and pain, "Leave me alone!" He said angrily. His magenta eyes narrowed as he clutched his head. He winced in pain and sucked in breath.
He stood up, one hand still holding onto his head as he looked at her, his snake-like eyes blank. "I do not care for anyone." He hissed at her angrily, "I do not need anyone. It's their fault. They did this to me." He snarled. "I can't stand it. I want them all dead!" He said, his eyes pained and angry at the same time. "I want them dead for what they did to me!" He screamed.
A thought burst into his head. He could attack Konoha. He could kill that pregnant dog of a hokage and lay waste to Konoha. He snarled angrily, then whimpered in pain. He looked at Eriko, one eye closed. "Please..." The kinder Hebi whispered gently, "I don't want to hurt you so please --LEAVE ME ALONE!" The younger Hebi was dragged back down deep into his self whilst the one who wanted revenge re-surfaced.

Tsunade had seen enough to now what was going on. She appeared before then and held Hebi's wrist gently. "You poor thing, Nothing is your fault anymore. Let your anger out on me but let your happiness out on her. I see you like her, maybe not alot but atleast as a friend." She said looking down at him. I kno you have the ability to fight this...

Eriko was completely confused, she had no idea what was going on. Why did he want her to leave? She closed her eyes as he yelled for her to leave. I don't care for anyone, don't need anyonw, they did this.. Who was he talking talking about? What did they do and why? Who would be cruel enough to hurt a child?
"Hebi-kun, please, do not ask things that are impossible. I will not leave you." The kunoichi's eyes softened slightly as she tried to reach out to him.
She was caught off gaurd as a female ninja appeared from seemingly nowhere. I know that face. Eriko scowled as she saw the woman grab her friend's wrist. How dare she!? Who does she think she I- then it hit her why exactly this woman looked familiar she was the most recent hokage of the most powerful ninja village of all. This woman was Tsunade of the Village Hidden in the Leaves.
Eri glared at the leaf kunoichi. More than anything she hated konoha nin. Just like that woman. she thought angrily as her eye twitched slightly in anger and distrust. How had she gotten into the village anyway?
