Hebi felt his wrists being grabbed suddenly. His eyes traveled up the thin-frame and over the large boobs towards that hideous face that he hated more than anything else in the world. He tried to jerk his hands away, but he was tired, and his broken arm still hurt him. He winced and sucked in some air as she spoke to him about love and friends. Love… friends… what use did he have for those things? He stared at the Hokage as he looked at her slowly, his eyes narrowed. What was she doing in Kumo anyway? He sighed, he didn’t care anymore. He just didn’t care anymore. He wanted to die; no, he didn’t want to die. He wanted something, but he didn’t know what is was he wanted, only that he wanted it. He wanted something unknown; but known to him. He sighed as he stilled glared at her.
He felt himself gathering his chakra in an effort to finally rid Konoha of this person. He wanted her dead. But why? Because she wanted to help him? Or was it because he’d become so untrusting of others and closed off that he could never speak with another again. He snarled angrily, but felt the anger rapidly flee from his body as he cast his magenta eyes on Eriko. He looked at her, he could never kill anyone in front of her, she was too innocent to him. Too sweet; she didn’t need, and probably didn’t want something as bent on revenge, destroyed as he was. He felt tears once again fill his eyes.
He looked at her as Eriko spoke, her voice soft and loving to him, he sighed gently, and shook his head, “I promise you, I’m no good.” He said softly. His eyes hardened once more as he looked at the Hokage, “Let go of my hands and leave, you are not welcome here.” He growled at her, “Or I will kill you, even in front of Eriko-chan.” He told her angrily, his eyes narrowed. He looked back at his …friend and shook his head, “You don’t want me Eriko-chan.” He said, his eyes downcast once more. The snake crept up his skin as she gently circled around his neck, resting there safely, almost asleep.
He sighed, “Eriko-chan, I destroyed my first village.” He said distantly, taking her hands in his since he’d removed them already from Tsunade’s powerful grip. His injured arm screamed at him though his body. But he needed to say this to her. He held himself upright as he started at her, his eyes filled with guilt and sorrow, “Gomen Eriko-chan, I did it. I was the monster that destroyed the village.” He said. He suddenly couldn’t talk anymore. It was too soon to have met someone and to just suddenly reveal all there was about him to this girl. He sighed softly as he looked at Eriko. She was so innocent, did he really want to destroy all of the innocence?
He knew he’d have to tell her someday, the reason snakes never bit him, why he walked without fear. Why he was so cold to everyone. But today was not that day. He sighed softly as he looked at her, “Eriko-chan, please, leave me for now. Come back in a few days if you want to know about my history.” He told her softly. The demon of Kumo shook his head slowly, “Please do so, I’ll be fine. I promise.” He told her softly, his eyes closed gently as he looked at her. He blinked again.
Suddenly, he leaned forwards and wrapped his arms around her in a gentle hug. He pressed his head against her shoulder for just a second, then lifted his mouth you near her ear, “Gomen,” He whispered softly, “I can’t tell you now.” He told her. Then he let her go and stepped back, staring at her with his magenta eyes before he turned and raced off.
